Tokoname Kyusu Teapot Isshin

This traditional Tokoname Kyusuteapot was crafted from natural clay by respected Isshin design studio. Isshine was founded in 1980 by Sadao Tsuchihira. The focus of Isshin’s work is on Kyusu and Dobin teapots with ashes as well as Irabo glazes.

This exceptional teapot has an integrated metal sieve. Isshin uses only natural, mineral-rich clay from Tokoname, which can be fired at high temperatures. The teapot holds 540ml and is suitable for green tea such as Sencha, Bancha or Houjicha.
