Mulberry tea is made from the leaves of the white mulberry tree. The white mulberry tree (Latin: Morus Alba) is a deciduous tree and native to China.

The choice of leaves is crucial for our tea’s quality. We exclusively use the first three leaves of the white Mulberry tree, which are carefully roasted after harvest to minimize oxidation. This process preserves the tea’s fine, slightly sweet, and nutty flavor. Mulberry Leaf Tea is not only recognized in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for its beneficial properties but is also popular throughout Asia.

We now offer our mulberry leaf tea in a rolled form. This not only makes for more compact packaging but also optimally protects the leaves from oxidation, keeping the tea fresher for longer and preserves the white mulberry leaf extract. Visually, it resembles a Taiwanese Oolong and provides a holistic tea experience – perfect for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.

Aroma: Sweet and nutty with a slight tartness
Terroir: Yunnan province, China
Preparation: approx. 2g per tea pot, temperatur 95°C, time 3-5 minutes
Tip: This tea is free of caffeine and can therefor be consumed in the evening too.
