Cistus tea

A plant known since ancient times that has conquered the entire Greek mainland from Crete is the cistus. On the untouched sunny slopes in the north of Greece, the strongly branched dwarf shrubs with the small purple flowers grow in spring and produce the aromatic-bitter resin labdanum. Our cistus tea comes from wild collections from the dry and barren mountains of northern Greece. The Mediterranean climate ensures that the plants grow at a leisurely pace so that as many active ingredients as possible can be accumulated.
