Jing Mai Gushu 2017

Over the course of seven years aging in Yunnan, our Jing Mai Gushu 2017 has gracefully matured, developing a richly layered and complex flavor profile. This thoughtful maturation process enriches the tea’s depth, making it an exceptional choice for Pu-erh enthusiasts. The journey of this tea began on a memorable day when we discovered an ancient grove of Gushu tea trees in Jing Mai. Captivated by the profound energy and history of these venerable trees, we were inspired to create a Pu-erh that celebrates their unique essence. Harvested from Gushu (ancient trees) that have thrived for centuries in the lush landscapes of Yunnan, this brew embodies the depth, complexity, and rich heritage of old-growth tea trees.

Tea from Jing Mai Gushu Trees

For these tea cakes, we have carefully selected leaves from ancient tea trees grown in Da Ping Zhang in Jing Mai. Nestled at an elevation of approximately 1600 m, this tea garden benefits from the mountain’s plateau-like summit, ensuring that all tea leaves are harvested from a consistent high altitude. This distinctive terroir imparts exceptional quality and a unique flavor profile to the tea, reflecting the harmonious balance of nature and centuries-old cultivation methods.
