Yiwu Gushu 2024

We are thrilled to present our Yiwu Gushu 2024, a remarkable Pu-erh tea resulting from our collaboration with the esteemed Tea Master Panda. Our journey led us to the legendary tea mountains of Yiwu, where we handpicked the finest leaves from ancient tea trees. These centuries-old Gushu trees, some surpassing 300 years in age, infuse this tea with unparalleled depth and complexity. Expertly crafted in Yang Ming’s boutique tea factory, these leaves have been transformed into traditional bingcha Pu-erh tea cakes.
Our Yiwu Gushu 2024 is made from these treasured leaves harvested in the prestigious Yiwu region. The tea exudes the distinctive Yiwu aroma, echoing the qualities of our highly acclaimed Lucky Bee. Connoisseurs will appreciate the renowned depth and clarity characteristic of Gushu teas, enhanced by a subtle hint of camphor. This tea not only offers a rich and layered flavor profile but also captures the essence of ancient tea traditions.

About Gushu Tea

Gushu, translating to “ancient tree” in Chinese, refers to tea leaves harvested from old-growth tea trees typically over 100 years old. These majestic trees, deeply rooted in Yunnan’s fertile soils, absorb abundant nutrients and minerals, imparting exceptional complexity and depth to the tea. Gushu teas are esteemed for their rich, nuanced flavors, smooth mouthfeel, and the unique character that only centuries-old trees can provide. The rarity and traditional harvesting methods make Gushu Pu-erh teas a cherished experience for tea enthusiasts worldwide.

Meet Tea Masters Panda and Yang Ming

Tea Masters Panda and Yang Ming are not only our close friends but also distinguished experts in Pu-erh tea. Yang Ming, a dedicated tea farmer from Yiwu, descends from a family with a rich heritage in Pu-erh production. His tea gardens are the source of our esteemed Lucky Bee teas. His profound understanding of the local terroir and traditional techniques ensures the highest quality in every leaf.

Tea Master Panda, originally from Sichuan—a detail reflected in his affectionate nickname—moved to Yunnan driven by his deep passion for Pu-erh tea. Beyond his tea mastery, he is a skilled calligrapher and possesses extensive knowledge of Chinese history. His artistic background and historical insights enrich his approach to tea, weaving cultural heritage into his craftsmanship.
