Tamaryokucha Ureshino Yabukita
Tamaryokucha Ureshino Yabukita is a dreamlike tea of the highest quality from Ureshino. Its smooth aromas are accentuated by fruity-grassy notes, playful umami and a sweet finish. We owe these fine nuances to the well-known Yabukita cultivar and the decades of experience of the tea master.
WHAT IS TAMARYOKUCHA?
Tamaryokucha is green tea whose leaves are not rolled into needles, as is the case with Sencha, for example, but whose leaves are curled. Basically, there are two types of Tamaryokucha: One type is the steamed Tamaryokucha like this tea is. The second type of Tamaryokucha is Kamairicha, which is originally heated dry in a wok (kama). Both types of tamaryokucha are now rarely produced in a few places in Kyushu.
