Panda Gushu Anniversary

With Panda Gushu Anniversary, we celebrate tea master Panda’s 20th Pu-erh anniversary. For this special tea, Panda created a characterful blend from carefully selected Gushu tea leaves from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 spring harvests.

The leaves come from different tea gardens around Yiwu. By combining several origins and harvest years, this tea offers an especially round, harmonious, and layered flavour profile. Rather than focusing on the character of a single garden, this tea highlights the art of blending at a high level: depth, balance, and expression come together in a composition that honours the style and long experience of tea master Panda.

Yiwu is one of the most renowned Pu-erh regions in Yunnan and is known for teas with an elegant texture, pleasant sweetness, and a lasting finish. These qualities also form the heart of Panda Gushu Anniversary. The older leaves from 2023 contribute a little more depth and calm to the blend, while the 2024 and 2025 harvests bring freshness, vibrancy, and aromatic clarity. The result is a tea that is approachable from the first infusion while still offering enough structure and substance for many rewarding brews.

This tea is not only an anniversary tea, but also an expression of Panda’s understanding of fine Pu-erh: not showmanship, but balance, origin, and character are at the centre. WHO IS TEA MASTER PANDA?

Tea master Panda, a dear friend and mentor to us, is a revered figure in the world of Pu-erh tea. Originally from Sichuan, he was drawn to Yunnan by his profound love for Pu-erh. Beyond tea, he is also a master of calligraphy and has a deep understanding of Chinese history. This rare combination of artistry, cultural knowledge and practical tea expertise shapes his work and is reflected in the exceptional quality and personality of his teas.
