Together with our friends, Tea Masters Yang Ming and Panda, we went once again on a quest for Gushu. The leaves we found have been processed in Yang Ming’s tea manufactory into Dragon Balls of 8g. We deliberately chose a very small grammage to be able to offer this tea also as a sample.
For these Dragon Balls we used tea leaves of up to 300 years old tea trees from in Bo He Tang. We are particularly exited about this tea because we where looking for some time for Bo He Tang tea but failed so far due to low availability. In addition, these Dragon Balls contains excellent Gushu material.
Harvest: Autumn 2016
Aroma: Strong Cha Qi but also mild taste
Terroir: Bo He Tang, Xishuangbanna prefecture, Yunnan province, China
Preparation: Appx. 5g per tea pot, temperatur 100°C. Rinse the tea leaves bevor infusing with boiling water.
Tip: This tea is ideal to mature a few years.
