Another gem from our friend, Tea Master Panda. This gushu tea leaves from Jing Mai have been pressed in Yang Mings tiny tea factory  to traditional puerh cakes. The tea was well stored and matured by Teamaster Panda himself.
The tea leaves are from several hundred years old tea trees (gushu) from Da Ping Zhang in Jing Mai. The tea garden with the old tea trees is located at about 1600m. The the top of the mountain forms a plateau instead of a peak. Therefore, all tea leaves are grown on a similar altitude.

Who is Tea master Panda?

Teamster Panda is our friend and mentor and he is an absolute expert when it comes to pu-erh tea. Tea Master Panda is originally from Sichuan (hence the name) and went to Yunnan because of his passion for pu-erh. Besides pu-erh, Tea Master Panda is also a Master of calligraphy and has extensive knowledge of Chinese history.
