Yinxiang Baozhong
Yinxiang Baozhong refers to this Baozhong made from the promising Yinxiang cultivar, intentionally crafted in a more traditional Baozhong style. While many modern Wenshan and Pinglin Baozhong teas today are processed very green, with minimal oxidation and little to no roasting, this tea follows an older approach, aiming for greater depth, warmth, and balance.
Harvested in spring 2025, the leaves were more thoroughly oxidized and roasted more firmly than modern Baozhong, yet always in a controlled and restrained manner. This roasting adds structure, warmth, and maturity to the tea without overwhelming the naturally aromatic Baozhong character. The processing creates a harmonious balance between freshness and substance.
In the cup, the liquor shows a clear, lightly golden hue. The aroma is shaped by floral notes of mature blossoms, complemented by soft honey-like sweetness, gentle fruity nuances, and a refined, warming roasted undertone. In both aroma and structure, this Baozhong subtly resambles Tieguanyin, while remaining clearly rooted in the Baozhong style. The overall impression is calm, balanced, and elegant, with a long, smooth finish.
Thanks to the traditionally twisted Baozhong leaf shape, the tea opens evenly from the first infusion and remains stable and harmonious across multiple brews. An excellent choice for those who appreciate Baozhong in a more mature, traditionally styled expression with added depth, warmth, and subtle complexity.

This tea also works beautifully in a large mug or bigger pot: it stays smooth, doesn’t turn bitter easily, and is very high-yielding. You don’t have to pour the infusion off – simply let the leaves settle at the bottom.
