Gua Feng Zhai – Cha Ping Di

Experience the graceful side of Gua Feng Zhai with Gua Feng Zhai – Cha Ping Di, a refined ancient tree Sheng Pu-erh by tea master Panda. Cha Ping Di is known for a style that differs noticeably from the more imposing Cha Wang Shu. While it still carries the unmistakable quality and forest energy of Gua Feng Zhai, its expression is more delicate, elegant and finely detailed.

The aroma of Cha Ping Di is particularly distinctive, and the tea soup is clear, bright and transparent in character. On the palate it feels clean, fine and fluid, with a refreshing purity that gives the tea a vivid, almost cooling sensation. Rather than overwhelming with sheer force, Cha Ping Di captivates through finesse, clarity and charm. Chinese descriptions often characterise it as the more graceful or “beautifully delicate” type among the Gua Feng Zhai ancient tree teas, with a special fragrance, limpid liquor and a lightly cooling impression in the mouth and throat.

This tea is ideal for drinkers who appreciate the elegant side of Yiwu-area Pu-erh. It combines subtle aromatic complexity with a clear, lifted structure and a refined sweetness that gently lingers. Handmade in the traditional way and pressed at Yang Ming’s small artisanal manufactory, Cha Ping Di is a tea of nuance and poise, with enough pedigree to reward careful storage while already being highly expressive in its youth.

WHO IS TEA MASTER PANDA?
