Tokoname Yuzamashi Tokuta Takai

A Yuzamashi created by Fujita Tokuta. This exceptional Yuzamashi is made of Tokoname clay and captivates with its simple elegance. Tokoname is one of Japan’s six ancient ceramic centers. High-quality ceramics have been produced here since the 12th century. The clay, which is particularly irony, can be fired at up to 1200 degrees Celsius.

Fujita Tokuta uses only this natural, mineral-rich clay. This Yuzamashi holds 240ml and is ideal for cooling the heated water as well as chahai for the tea itself.
